1) Scope

This policy applies to short-form and long-form video editing services provided by Nazim M. whether purchased through Upwork or through another approved payment method.

It does not apply to third-party services or products that are outside my control.

2) Definitions

Approved brief: The project requirements confirmed before editing begins. This may include the script reference videos editing style format branding colors subtitles sound design effects and other agreed requirements.

Revision: A modification requested within the scope of the approved brief.

Deliverable: The final edited video or agreed project files.

3) 100% Money-Back Guarantee

If after the agreed revision process you are still not satisfied with the final result and I have not delivered according to the approved brief then you may request a full refund.

To qualify:

  • The project must remain within the original approved brief.

  • You must provide clear feedback and allow reasonable revisions.

  • Feedback must be provided within the agreed project timeline.

  • The request must relate to the quality or execution of the agreed edit.

  • The delivered work must not already have been published or commercially used.

Refund requests should be submitted within 7 days of the final revised delivery.

4) Cases Not Eligible for Refund

A refund may not apply when:

  • The client changes the concept or brief after work has started.

  • The client requests work outside the original scope.

  • The client stops responding during the project.

  • The delivered video has already been published or commercially used.

  • The client requests a refund because of a change of mind unrelated to the agreed work.

  • The client requests additional services that were not included in the original agreement.

  • External platform restrictions prevent delivery or payment processing.

  • The project was approved and accepted before the refund request.

5) How to Request a Refund

Contact me through Upwork and provide:

  • Your contract or project reference.

  • The relevant delivery.

  • A clear explanation of the issue.

  • Any previous revision requests related to the issue.

I will review the request and respond as quickly as possible.

6) Refund Terms

Approved refunds cover the amount paid for the eligible editing service.

Any non-refundable platform fees or payment processing fees are subject to the rules of the payment provider or platform used.

For projects completed through Upwork the refund process must follow Upwork's payment and dispute system.

Estimated refund processing time depends on the platform or payment provider.

7) Effect of a Refund on Usage Rights

If a full refund is issued then the client loses the right to use the refunded deliverables.

The client must:

  • Stop using the refunded work.

  • Remove published versions where reasonably possible.

  • Stop distributing or commercially using the refunded deliverables.

8) Custom Services and Cancellation

Video editing is a custom service created specifically for each client.

Once editing has started cancellation may be subject to work already completed.

Any cancellation or refund must also comply with the rules of the platform through which the project was purchased.

9) Abuse Prevention

I reserve the right to reject refund requests involving fraud repeated abuse of the refund policy unauthorized commercial use or attempts to obtain completed work without payment.

10) Third-Party Platforms

If the project is purchased through a third-party platform such as Upwork then that platform's payment refund and dispute rules take priority where applicable.

If there is a conflict between this policy and the platform's mandatory rules then the platform's rules apply.

11) Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

Applicable law and jurisdiction will be determined according to the legal status of the service provider and applicable platform rules.
